Terroir & Microclimate
The winery is located in the Marivella area, Calatayud (Utiel-Requena), at an altitude of over 800–1,000 metres above sea level
Rocky soils with a calcareous profile and a Mediterranean, partly continental climate provide favourable conditions for consistently good harvests of Chardonnay and Macabeo

HISTORY. QUEEN PETRONILLA
Daughter of Ramiro II and Agnes of Poitou, Petronilla was conceived to ensure the continuity of the Aragonese dynasty, but the Aragonese charters did not allow her to rule because she was a woman. The solution was her marriage to Count Ramon Berenguer IV of Barcelona. However, Petronilla held the title of Queen from 1157 to 1164, when she transferred her rights to her son Alfonso, giving rise to the Crown of Aragon.
