🍇 About Vidinska Gamza

Vidinska Gamza is a small, family-run boutique winery, established by a family of winemakers spanning three generations. Located in the picturesque village of Novo Selo, Vidin Province, the winery combines inherited knowledge and traditions with a modern understanding of quality winemaking.

🌿 The winery’s vineyards cover more than 200 decares and are situated on a south-eastern slope near the Danube River – a location intrinsically linked to the character and identity of the wines from this region.

🍾 Annual production is around 50,000 bottles. Some of the wines are bottled young, while others are left to develop and mature at the winery until they reach their full potential.

📍 The vineyards are situated on a south-facing slope, which, according to the producer, is characterised by exceptional terroir for growing vines.
🪨 The soil contains yellow limestone, identified by Vidinska Gamza as particularly suitable for the Riesling grape variety.
🌡️ Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 15°C for a period of 35 days.
