Vidinska Gamza is a small, family-run boutique winery, established by a family of winemakers spanning three generations. Located in the picturesque village of Novo Selo, Vidin Province, the winery combines inherited knowledge and traditions with a modern understanding of quality winemaking.

🌿 The winery’s vineyards cover more than 200 decares and are situated on a south-eastern slope near the Danube River – a location intrinsically linked to the character and identity of the wines from this region.

🍾 Annual production is around 50,000 bottles. Some of the wines are bottled young, while others are left to develop and mature at the winery until they reach their full potential.

Gamza Reserve is a dry red wine made from the traditional Bulgarian Gamza grape variety, crafted with particular attention to the concentration and structure of the grapes. The wine stands out for its full body and simultaneously preserved freshness, giving it a balanced and distinctive style.

During production, the grapes are left for approximately two weeks in a shaded, well-ventilated place. This allows some of the water to evaporate naturally, concentrating the sugars in the grapes. The result is a fuller-bodied and more concentrated wine that retains its freshness.

Afterwards, Gamza Reserve is aged for 4 months in new French oak barrels, which contribute to the wine's greater complexity and structure.
